A message from the Commissioner, Karen Cusack
In March 2019 the Minister for Health referred to me for Inquiry the matter of the provision of Assisted Reproductive Treatment (ART) services. The purpose of the Inquiry is broad ranging and may include recommendations to positively influence the sector.
We’ve developed a discussion paper, which provides information about the Inquiry and asks a series of questions relating to ART and fertility treatment services. Responses to these questions, which are open to anyone, will form submissions to the Inquiry.
I want to hear from a broad range of people to ensure that the findings of the Inquiry are as informed as possible. Importantly, anyone wishing to remain anonymous may do so. I’m inviting submissions from:
- Past and current ART and other fertility treatment service patients (including submissions from family members/friends)
- ART and other fertility service providers and their staff (former and current); and,
- Other interested stakeholders.
The submission questions are divided into three categories – PART A, PART B and PART C. Please check below to see which category applies to you and click on the relevant link to start your submission. There is an opportunity at the end of the questions to provide further information. Submissions close Friday 20 September 2019.
Thank you for taking the time to make a submission to the Inquiry.
