The Health Complaints Commissioner has made this Interim Prohibition Order against Mr Charles Michael Dispenzeri, trading as 'Massage Australia One' and 'Massage One Supplies', pursuant to section 90 of the Health Complaints Act 2016.
The Commissioner reasonably believes that Mr Charles Michael Dispenzeri has contravened a code of conduct applying to the general health service provided and is satisfied that it is necessary to make this order to avoid a serious risk to the health, safety or welfare of the public.
This Interim Prohibition Order is in effect for 12 weeks, from 7 October to 30 December 2018, while an investigation is conducted.
Mr Charles Michael Dispenzeri is prohibited from:
1. Publicly advertising his business in any form.
2. Providing any general health service that involves physical contact, including massage services, to any new female clients.
Mr Charles Dispenzeri must only provide general health services that involve physical contact, including massage services, to the following clientele:
1. Female clients who he has provided general health services to since 1 July 2016.
2. The female clients subject to the first condition must sign consent forms advising that they're aware of the prohibition order applied to the general health service provider.
This Order will also be published in the Victoria Government Gazette.
This Interim Prohibition Order takes effect on the service of the order on the general health service provider to whom it applies.
