The Health Complaints Commissioner has made this Interim Prohibition Order against Mr Dennis Wayne Jensen, pursuant to section 90 of the Health Complaints Act 2016.
The Commissioner reasonably believes that Mr Dennis Wayne Jensen has contravened a code of conduct applying to the general health service provided and is satisfied that it is necessary to make this order to avoid a serious risk to the health, safety or welfare of the public.
This Interim Prohibition Order is in effect for 12 weeks, from 14 May to 6 August 2018, while an investigation is conducted.
Mr Dennis Wayne Jensen must not:
- Provide any general health service, paid or otherwise, in a clinical or non-clinical capacity.
- Claim or represent (including on any internet based forum) that the provider is qualified, able or willing to cure cancer or other terminal illnesses.
- Supply, promote, recommend or make available to any person any product, therapy or other treatment, including, but not limited to, black salve.
This Order will be published in the Victoria Government Gazette as well as the Health Complaints Commissioner website.
This Interim Prohibition Order takes effect on the service of the order on the general health service provider to whom it applies.
